"Sul Ross Professor Schlosser receives grant for Shakespeare performer.
Dr. Rebecca Schlosser, Sul Ross State University assistant professor of Education, was recently awarded a Texas Commission of the Arts grant for area performances of “Shakespeare Man.”
“Shakespeare Man,” a one-man interactive show performed by British-born actor Robert Clover-Brown, is touring Big Bend area schools during the week of Dec. 13-18. Evening performances are scheduled Wednesday-Thursday, Dec. 16-17 at Alpine’s Granada Theatre. Admission for each show is $10. A light supper (for an additional charge) and cash bar will be available at 6 p.m., with the performances at 7 p.m. Wednesday’s performance is titled “William Shakespeare: His Exciting Life in a Turbulent World.” Thursday’s show is “Shakespeare’s Intriguing Women.”
