YOUR SCHOOLS PERFORMANCES: My One Man Show can easily be adapted for specific Schools' Performances, relating closely with your schools' curriculum requirements.

Academic Disciplines: LA, Social Studies, and Drama.

Involve your Community, Friends, Local Colleges, Schools & Home Schoolers, AND Sponsors proud to be associated with a cultural icon - William Shakespeare!

B. CORPORATE EVENTS, TRAINING DAYS & FUND RAISERS

An appearance by Shakespeare Man will ensure that your event is enlivened and enriched.

My core corporate programme, entitled Shakespeare, a shrewd businessman in a dangerous Elizabethan world illuminates a number of corporate life lessons in a vivid and memorable manner.

The content draws on my in-depth corporate executive experience, and on Shakespeare's surprising skills as an innovative Elizabethan businessman and property investor.

Other popular programmes include: William Shakespeare: My intriguing Women! and William Shakespeare: My dramatic, dirty London.

OTHER TITLES are available: see C 2 below.

C. EDUCATORS: Arts Councils, Colleges, Schools & Home Schoolers

Calling: Administrators, Professors, Teachers, School Librarians &   Home School Parents.

I have created a variety of age-appropriate performances, presentations AND classes,  individually designed to meet your needs, and those of your students, including an exciting Residency!

1. Becoming Shakespeare: for student grades 3-5/6:

CORE TITLE: Meet my favourite character, William Shakespeare. For these young students, I lead an highly inter-active session, as R C-B, during which I share an actor's secrets behind "the creation of a character", the students identify their favourite characters from TV/Movies, and I introduce them to my favourite character (WS) and to his life and work in Elizabethan England.

The students watch and count, as I become my favourite character, and demonstrate. Lastly, they create a line of dialogue and a character, for themselves, move in character, and speak the line of dialogue  in costume and a spotlight (a surprise prop!).

The length of this class is 45-60 minutes and it can take place, very informally, in a class room, a meeting room, or an auditorium. It is proving to be great fun for us all and, in the process, these young students absorb age-appropriate educational information about the Theatre, Acting and Shakespeare - a timeless genius!

Refer to the Testimonial page for an endorsement of this presentation.

2. Performing as Shakespeare: for students grades 6-12+ AND Teacher Training

CORE TITLE: William Shakespeare: My exciting life in a turbulent Elizabethan World
For Secondary School and College students, I have created a graduated, curriculum-relevant series of Shakespeare Man performances, in my role as William Shakespeare.

Each presentation contains lively, informative, TEKS-aligned insights into the man behind the words, and involves LOTS of attention-grabbing student participation, designed to supplement students' class work, while entertaining them.

Particular themes or topics, required by Teachers or Professors, can be illustrated and discussed. All Presentations can include analysis of one, or more, of Shakespeare's curriculum-relevant plays, or poems.

A Shakespeare Man performance is flexible and easy to stage, in a class room, a meeting room, a school library, or an auditorium.

Academic Disciplines: Language Arts, Social Studies, and Drama.

Refer to the Testimonial page for endorsements that this method of bringing Shakespeare to life for contemporary student audiences stimulates and engages their interest, and envigorates their studies.

E. SHAKESPEARE CLUBS, & ADULT GROUPS inc. BOOK CLUBS

I am always pleased to receive enquiries from any of these delightful Clubs and Groups, and greatly enjoy crafting suitable programmes, either as a Shakespeare Man performance, or a Presentation as R C-B.

TITLES can be any of those mentioned in Sections A, B or C above, OR written especially for the occasion.

For example: I  have created an intriguing NEW title, which was first performed  for a Womens Council: William Shakespeare, Transformative Poet of the Elizabethan Countryside, and I recently performed for a Breakfast Club with NEW content, which focused on Medical Matters in my Elizabethan England and on a physician who was very well known to Shakespeare.

I can happily perform, or present, in a private house, or a small public space such as a meeting room, and my visit is often part of an enjoyable social event such as Breakfast, Lunch, Tea or Dinner!

_______________________

I really love being Shakespeare Man, and the feedback from audiences, young and old, whom I regard as my rumbustious Groundlings, has been wonderfully encouraging.

I greatly appreciate every enquiry and will happily create, and then perform, present or coach, the type programme you require, as Shakespeare Man or as R C-B, which will be carefully designed to meet your specific needs.
